SAMETEAM : TESTIMONIALS
Louis, from the I-phone...
I have been hanging out at Cal Suds for the past couple hours (good times), admiring your awesome work. When I have a bit more "fun money," I will definitely buy something. Until then, I just wanted to pass along my compliments.
Thanks for making an otherwise dull laundry day that much more interesting.
Casey, of Berkeley Boat House:
"I was impressed with Damon's very professional and efficient service. He was able to bring to life the images I had in my head, and helped add his own creative touch in places I hadn't even thought of. I was left extremely satisfied with the end product which has now brought me a lot of business." Casey
Ted Garrett, Former C.E.O. of The Berkeley Chamber of Commerce:
"I find the art to be full of fun. Merry. Whimsical and colorful. I chose Sad Elephants for my collection because it shows the sad state of the republican party and also because it shows my inner soul grieving for my recently deceased dog, Crash." Ted
Rolanda in Berkeley, California:
"I had an idea for an original piece and asked Damon to bring my idea to life. I am thoroughly happy Damon's creation. His work is fun, thought provoking and was completed in a most timely fashion. My son is going to love his wall art." Rolanda.
Annelise in Berkeley, California says
"Damon is the nicest artist I know."
Daniel Stouffer writes:
If given the opportunity to reflect, every person can examine their lifestyle, perspectives and ideals and pinpoint the origins to specific experiences, influences and/or people. Throughout my life, my cousin has been a catalyst for my evolution as a person and has altered the way I view the world.
Growing up, he would constantly question our society. Until then, I accepted everything at face value, and everything that was told to me. He taught me the importance of forming your own opinions and having the courage to voice them.
My cousin is fearless, a man willing to challenge mainstream thought, tradition and social expectation at the expense of having financial security. He lives free, bound to no boss, most bills and certainly no bullshit. He answers to himself, and to his needs, not his wants. To survive, he utilizes his creativity, his independence and his individuality to buy and barter his way through life. He does not have a steady paycheck, he does not have a 401k, but he is a man of principal, a man of morals and a man unwilling to sacrifice them at any cost.
Damon and I have different views on many issues but we share the same quest to live honorable lives, true to who we are. We both encourage originality, and individualism but understand that as humans we all thirst for the same standard of living. We lust for love and respect, knowledge and wisdom, safety and health and most importantly, true happiness. And for that, we are all ultimately on the same team.
His website, SameTeam.us, "is dedicated to creating original images that are designed to both reflect and help positively change the world we stand in." Feel free to check it out.
